Analytics & Measuring Success

For my company art.sefiyetu I focus heavily on data and analytics to make each decision. Many of the companies I worked for did not operate in similar ways. Please click the sliders below to learn more about each individual position. 

Every company is different. For most, they prioritized ticket sales & conversions more than followers and likes.

 

I say this because, for example, at arvold we never looked at analytics. Post approval depended on the CEO's personal opinion about the brand, so that was the priority over previous analytics. As such, I do not have the change in followers, likes or impressions for this company. 

None of the companies I worked for were using a scheduling system for social media or Google Analytics before I joined their team. 

Recent Success!

For art.sefiyetu I gained 86 followers in my first week of business! With post engagement at 30-60% of my follower count, an average of 3-4 comments per post and 2 sales in the first week.

At arvold, using email marketing I sold 59 tickets (approx. $7,000) from one email.

I decided to branch out on my own and sell merchandise featuring my art & graphic design.

I was hired in Fall 2019 as a Principal Casting Assistant on a CBS Apple+ TV show. 

During the shows' winter hiatus, I cast two commercials (Virginia Lottery & Google), worked on set of a Nike Jordan Photoshoot & a PBS kids show.

After Covid-19 shut down the entertainment industry, my position changed to Education Assistant to help sell tickets for acting classes.

I was hired in June of 2019 as the Coordinator of Leadership & Enagement Programs. My role was primarily to run the YRichmond and HYPE programs.

Daphne Maxwell Reid

Daphne Maxwell Reid, better known as "Light-Skinned Aunt Viv" from the Fresh Prince of BelAir, hired me as her personal assistant and social media manager.

Her goal was to create a business Instagram account to gain followers so that she could sell eventually her cookbook.  

From June 2018 to March 2019, I created a social media account (including all of the content and captions) and gained 2,000 followers. 

Petersburg Festival of Grapes & Hops

Overview:

In 2018, while working for Daphne Reid, I was an intern at the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.  My job was to manage the customer facing side of the festival.

Target Market

Caucasian Women, Alcoholics, 35+ 

I learned quickly that women primarily bought tickets for their husbands for a wine/beer festival, so we targeted women.
